Our Story

It’s 2011, and a small company based in Brisbane, Australia, receives a call from Australian Defence asking if we knew how to deploy SharePoint in a low connectivity environment. Did we know? Not entirely, but that didn’t stop our engineering team from going out and putting together a plan and successfully delivering a solution. We started in the commercial space by delivering enterprise SharePoint solutions. From that experience, we were confident we could find a solution to the challenge presented to us.

With the idea that complex collaboration challenges could be simplified and focused on warfighting users, we had a different approach to solving this problem. We didn’t just want to solve the collaboration challenge. We wanted to fix the fundamental information management problem to enable the warfighter to focus on the task at hand, confident they had the data they needed. We successfully demonstrated what was possible, especially in DDIL environments, and S2IX was evolved six months later.

Our mission with S2IX is to solve the complex issues found in large scale collaborative environments and allow for a more straightforward, more secure exchange of information that supports the organisation and the warfighters, from headquarters out to disconnected tactical environments.
